Edward
M. Collins

With
the firm since 1985, Edward M. Collins has been a member of the
Maine Bar since 1984 and has been a member of the firm and
practicing in Rockland
since 1985. He is a Rockland, Maine native and a
1973 graduate of Rockland District High School. In 1978, he received
a B.A. in Environmental Studies from The George Washington University
in Washington, D.C. He then worked for
Maine Congressman David F. Emery in his Rockland and Washington,
D.C. offices as a legislative assistant focusing on environmental
and marine matters. He received his law degree from Lewis & Clark
Law School in Portland, Oregon in 1984.
Mr. Collins
practices law in the following areas:real
estate, zoning, estate
planning, wills and trusts, and estate
administration. He also
represents local for-profit and non-profit corporations.
Mr.
Collins is active in several local non-profit corporations.
He serves as clerk of the North Haven Foundation and the
North
Haven
Development Corporation. He is currently President of
the Rockland Cemetery Association. He has served on the
boards of the Farnsworth Art Museum, the Megunticook
Watershed Association, the Georges River Land Trust, and the
Mid-Coast
Mental Health Association. He is a past President of
the Knox County Bar Association and a member of the Maine Bar
Association.
